The Pains of Being Pure at Heart. I am carrying on exploring the Rough Trade Best of 2009. I love the way there are no drums on track one. If I had never heard Jesus and Mary Chain or the Smiths I would think this was absolutely brilliant. A pretty big if, I know.

Fuck Buttons “Tarot Sport”. Don’t like the white-noisey brightness all over the record, but love the krautrock vibe of Olympians.

I like this, and I find it inspiring!
