Created across multiple locations — including countryside retreats in England and a terrace overlooking the Aegean Sea — the album integrates modular improvisation with field recordings and reworked fragments from Gareth’s father’s vinyl collection.
Several pieces are named after Eurorack modules used as primary sound sources, highlighting the project’s experimental approach to treating electronic systems as living instruments.
The record also incorporates a deeply personal archival recording made by Gareth’s father before his birth, reshaping it into a reflection on love, time, and inheritance.
