Studio Approach

Gareth’s work treats the studio itself as an instrument — a space where performance, environment, experimentation, and technology interact.

From early innovative production techniques in Berlin’s Hansa studios, through decades of collaborative recording practice, to contemporary immersive and spatial sound work, his approach consistently explores how sound can shape emotional experience beyond traditional song structures.
