It’s been a long haul, but the painters are finally out. Cleaners on Monday, and before then I am overhauling the (huge) wardrobe and drawers, polishing and replacing metalwork, varnishing, touching-up and pre-cleaner -cleaning. Can’t wait to move back in.

I was at a very inspiring Alumni Weekend. Stayed in my old college (possibly in the same room!) and heard fantastic talks from Lord Martin Rees, (Cosmology) Professor Andy Parker (CERN LHC) and Jane Munro (Darwin Endless Forms) amongst many others. Truly Excellent.
